This is a legal analysis and proposition of harmful gay-to-straight conversion therapy on minors. Suicide is the leading cause of death among lesbian, gay, transgender or questioning (LGBTQ) youth nationally with 1,500 Gay and Lesbian youth committing suicide each year (Campos 20). It is estimated that every five hours and 48 minutes a LGBTQ youth succeeds in committing suicide, and every 35 minutes such youth attempt suicide
