Werewolf is a short experimental film about (and part of) my own experience of having an alcoholic parent, and the emotional consequences of escaping such an environment. The film examines the dissonance between the documented memory contained in years of home video and my own personal memory of childhood, using the language of film to express what words perhaps cannot. Sequences of found footage, stop-motion, and screen capture present memories differently, and draw connections between the experiences and my current perception of both the present and the past.
