Film 196A - Senior Thesis (Narrative Production)
This film is dedicated to my Grandmother and all those affected by Alzheimer's disease. I recently attended a Hilarity for Charity event dedicated to raising Alzheimer's awareness and was inspired to make a film that would help me express my complex feelings about this disease and the ways in which it impacts millions of people everyday. I have seen the repercussions of an Alzheimer's diagnosis first hand and felt it was my duty to craft a story that dealt with this issue in a sophisticated manner.
Logline: A celebrity diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's disease makes arrangements to disappear from public view until he is discovered by a disheartened news reporter on a search for meaning.
